The renowned sand artist Kseniya Simonova, celebrated for her victory on Ukraine’s Got Talent and hailed as an internet phenomenon by The Guardian, presents her unique interpretation of Henrik Ibsen’s masterpiece, Terje Vigen. This exceptional performance is a collaboration with an orchestra and features specially composed music by Geir Meum Olsen, alongside a selection of our finest local musicians assembled for this occasion. Kseniya brings to life beautiful and moving sand stories, showcasing the art that has made her the most watched sand artist on the internet.
With a career that spans performances in over 70 countries for royals and presidents, Kseniya now graces the stage in Moss, offering a live experience that was eagerly anticipated during the NonStopFestival in 2020 but postponed due to the pandemic. It’s with great excitement that we welcome her to this year’s festival.
Ole Jacob Lindberg delivers the poem, which resonates profoundly with the current tense and tumultuous situation in Europe and the world at large, making Ibsen’s message of peace more relevant than ever. This national treasure by Henrik Ibsen receives a premiere in a completely new form—an event you won’t want to miss!
